WS  Procedure
Each WS presentation is planned to be organised as follows:
- 12 min. : author”s presentation
-   3 min. : questions from the audience.
All accepted papers will be published in local BIR2011 WSs and doctoral consortium proceedings.
The best papers selected by the WS Program Committee will be also published in BIR2011 post conference Springer LNBIP proceedings.

The aim of the workshop

The main aim of the INTEL-EDU series of workshops is to provide an international platform for the presentation of research on intelligent educational systems theory, development of advanced tools and technologies, and their innovative applications.

The 2nd workshop INTEL-EDU 2011 continues the workshop held in Riga in 2009 in conjunction with 13th East-European Conference on Advances in Databases and Information Systems (ADBIS 2009).

We invite researchers and practitioners from both industry and academia to submit original results of their completed or ongoing research and projects.

Workshop topics

include, but are not limited to:

Paper Submission and Proceedings

Submissions to INTEL-EDU 2011 have to be made by using the submission systems EasyChair http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=inteledu2011

Each paper will be reviewed by at least two workshop Programme Committee members.

Papers accepted for publication will be published in proceedings of INTEL-EDU 2011 workshop as a part of BIR2011 workshops proceedings with ISBN. Best papers will be published by Springer as part of the BIR 2011 post-conference workshops proceedings in Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (LNBIP) series.

Papers submitted need to follow LNBIP formatting guidelines: available from: http://www.springer.com/computer+science/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-791344-0

Papers shall not have more than 8 pages (including figures, tables and appendices). Longer papers will not be included in workshop proceedings.

  • Notification of acceptance – August 15th
  • Camera ready deadline – August 30th
